What we do with the details you send us.
This site collects very little. Almost all of it is what you type into an enquiry form, and none of it is your operational data.
What this notice covers
This notice is about this website and the contact, demonstration and quote forms on it. Using a PureView appliance is covered by the agreement your organisation signs with Zenaclove, not by this notice.
What we store when you send an enquiry
The details you type into the form: your name, your email address, your organisation, and whatever you write in the message or notes field. We also store the wording of the consent you agreed to, so there is a record of what you were told at the time.
What we store about the request itself
Your browser identification string, and a one-way hash of your network address rather than the address itself. Both exist to detect automated abuse of the forms. The hash cannot be turned back into your address. Separately, the infrastructure that serves this site keeps its own operational logs, as any web server does, under its own retention.
What a PureView appliance sends here
A licensed appliance tells us which version it runs and which licence it holds, so that we can answer whether an update applies to it. That request cannot carry your operational data: monitoring data, device configuration, credentials, syslog and network topology are refused by its format, and no endpoint here would accept them. How long we keep it
Each enquiry is stored with a review date 365 days after it was sent. Records are reviewed against that date rather than kept indefinitely. Deletion is carried out as part of that review or on request; it is not an automatic process that runs on the day.
Why we are allowed to hold it
Because you agreed to it when you sent the form, and because we need it to reply to you. You can withdraw that agreement at any time by asking us to delete the record.
Asking what we hold, or asking us to delete it
Use the contact form and say what you want. If you have a reference from a previous enquiry, include it, because it makes the record easy to find.
